Dr. Arkoosh has served as a Montgomery County Commissioner since January 2015 and is currently Board Chair and has led the County's response to COVID-19. She is also a practicing obstetric anesthesiologist for over two decades. She will join us to speak about lessons learned from Pennsylvania’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cindy Mann is a former Deputy Administrator at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the founder of the Center for Children and Families at the Georgetown University Health Policy Institute with over 30 years of experience in federal and state health policy, including posts. She will join us to speak about the federal health policy landscape following the November 2020 election.
A former Acting Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Huff provides leadership and public health expertise when planning for and responding to the testing and contact tracing needs of the Commonwealth during the COVID-19 pandemic. He will join us to discuss the Commonwealth’s ongoing response to COVID-19.
Brooks leads PBGH, which represents more than 100 leading employers from across southwestern Pennsylvania and is driving change in healthcare – giving a voice to employers in their efforts to contain rising costs for care and prescription drugs. She will join us to discuss health equity.
Dr. Jacobs is the first Chief Innovation Officer for the PA Department of Human Services. In this role, his three main priorities are moving the state's health system towards value, mitigating the social determinants of health, and promoting health equity. He helps oversee the state’s Medicaid program. He will speak about the state’s effort towards whole-person health reform.
Pennsylvania's new state-based marketplace, Pennie, launched this fall. Executive Director Zachary Sherman will join us to discuss Pennie's launch, this year's Open Enrollment period, and how Pennsylvania is working to keep marketplace health coverage affordable.
