The Pennsylvania Insurance Department is asking residents to share their experiences about how easy or hard it is to get appointments with doctors and specialists and whether or not they have had to wait long times for appointments or travel far for appointments. This is an important opportunity to bring attention to problems in our healthcare system, and your voice is needed!

To submit a public comment, fill out the form below. Your comment will be submitted directly to the Pennsylvania Insurance Department and posted to their website. No identifying information will be posted with your comment.

In your comment, be sure to include:

Whether or not you had trouble getting appointments or finding doctors, long wait times until appointments, or had to travel out of your area to get care.

AND

What type of doctors you had trouble accessing. Examples:

Primary care doctor or pediatrician
Specialists. Please include the types of specialists, like: OBGYN, cardiologists, oncologists, eye doctors, ENT doctors, GI doctors, allergists, and others.
Mental or behavioral healthcare (examples include therapists, psychiatrists, substance use disorder treatments, or autism services)
