Join us for an evening of art, storytelling, conversation, and community as we explore the real-life impact of healthcare costs in America.

When: August 5th from 4pm to 7pm

Where: The Friends Center Courtyard. Enter at 15th & Race.

This event is part of the One Nation, Overcharged campaign. The event is free, and all are welcome!

Event Details:

At the event, artist Theresa BrownGold, founder of Art as Social Inquiry, will share selections from her powerful portrait series, a collection of nearly 100 paintings inspired by the lives of people whose experiences with illness, medical debt, health insurance, and access to care changed their lives forever. Some portraits honor lives lost because care came too late or was out of reach. Others celebrate resilience and the difference that access to healthcare can make.

The evening will also feature interactive activities, free food, prizes, and a chance to add your own story to the national One Nation, Overcharged campaign.
